Summary of Central Bank of India Probationary Officer (PO) Recruitment Exam

1. Total Positions: 500

2. Min Education: Graduation from recognized university with 55%  (50% for SC/ST/PWB)

· Basic knowledge on Computer applications (Certificate from a reputed/recognized Training Institute, acceptable to Bank is required)

· The percentage of marks in Graduation shall be arrived at by dividing the aggregate of marks   obtained by the candidate in all subjects by maximum marks of  all subjects of Course (both for Pass/ Honours course) for all the years of the course

3. Age: 21 - 30 years

4. Fees for Exam: Rs. 300 for GEN and Rs. 25 (SC/ST/PWB)

8. Written Test will be objective type and Descriptive consisting of

* Quantitative Apptitude:

* Reasoning

· Descriptive Test: The Descriptive Test shall be to assess the candidates’ knowledge on Socio- economic development and Communication Skills

9. Test Centre for Gujarat is Ahmedabad only.

10. There will be negative marks for the wrong answers in the objective Test. Descriptive test is only for qualifying purpose

11. Min qualification mark is of 50% for general category (45% for ST/SC/PWB)

12. GD and / or Interview: Those short listed candidates in the order of ranking in the written test as per the cut-off marks determined by the bank shall be called for interview
